Darwin Youth services mapping
What is it?
This resource is a result of consultation between the City of Darwin, the youth services sector, and Creative Accomplice after a need was identified to better understand youth services available across the Darwin Municipality.
The long-term goal is to produce a comprehensive resource of current youth services in the Darwin Municipality that will both inform future collaboration among the sector, as well as identify strengths and possible gaps in available programs and services.
Information for this database was collected by Creative Accomplice, through a survey of the local sector as well as active information sourcing from organisations websites and existing resources.
This work is funded through the City of Darwin's Quick Response Youth Engagement Grants.
How do I access it?
There are a couple of different ways to access and use this resource, the best being to follow the link below and view the database in Google Sheets.
The main page provides a quick and easily filtered view of services and programs.
As a default, this page will be showing all data. To narrow the field, please use the dropdowns to select the information you’d like to filter by (age range and/or category), and the database will automatically narrow based on criteria.
Please note that in this current version it is only possible to filter by one age range and one category at a time.
The second tab of the resource is a complete list of services and programs collected as part of the work. It is also possible to filter this page using standard Google Sheets filtering.
Please see this walkthrough if you have any issues at all!
Who can I talk to if I have questions?
If you have any questions about the work or the resource itself please do not hesitate to reach out to Britt Guy at Creative Accomplice.
For updates to information in this database please send an email to the Creative Accomplice operations email.
Can I download a copy?
Of course! You are very welcome to download this resource or make a copy of it to your own Google Drive, however please note it may be updated periodically and these updates will not dynamically flow through.
Please also note that downloading a copy of the Google Sheets version of the document and opening it in Microsoft Excel will cause the formulas for the main page to stop working.
I’m having trouble with the document.
